In 2000 he undertook a residency, based on the Isle of Skye, where he explored phosphorescent marine plankton, worked with schools, and promoted awareness of microorganisms as a biological barometer. Was short listed by SciArt with Prof. David Mann.

In 2001 received a scholarship from the Friends of the Royal Scottish Academy to undertake an ‘aquatic field work’ mission down the Murray River, Australia.

Since 2002 an Indo Scottish exchange project has been exploring the significance of Rivers and Sustainable transport. Rickshaws, created in Bengal, are coming to Scotland later this summer for tour of schools. Examining sustainable transport issues. Click here for Song of the Rickshaw
